History: Here! Not the best history writeup/history section missing, may need rewrite.
AU History: Ten years have passed since Kyousuke and his family were separated. Rin, his baby sister, was barely walking when their family attempted to escape the flooding remains of their distant settlement. Kyousuke, now a boy of sixteen, holds on to the faint hope that his parents and little sister might have gotten to their destination.
It was this event that set the tone for his cobbled-together life in Union. The tragedy in his old settlement is one he only faintly remembers, but still he feels the touch of little sister's hand just barely brushing over his as the water claimed him, clear and haunting and sometimes too disgustingly real. He smiles, but takes the weariness of a lesson learned too young to bed with him.
Anything can happen. Nobody ever thinks it will until it does.

Canon Personality: Kyousuke bears a great sense of responsibility towards his younger sister and the close friends around him, one that can be easy to overlook or brush aside based on his outward friendliness and desire to never lose sight of youth. He carries himself confidently, seeming to always have time to joke in passing or come up with some other ridiculous scheme in the name of having fun and enjoying life. At a glance, he's a warm, ideal big brother figure (with a fondness for the idea of being called onii-chan, which is never obliged by his younger sister) and a leader capable of bringing misfit youth together to form lifelong relationships.
AU Deviation: (The nature of the AU is such that the character's personal history will be different, be it in simple or dramatic ways. Due to a much different upbringing, we expect there to be at least some variation, even if small. Spend at least one paragraph detailing in what ways the character differs from their canon incarnation.)
Canon Abilities: Kyousuke has the ability to formulate an illusory world for Rin and Riki, his sister and close friend, to live in in order to to temper their strength and steel them for the hardship of the reality they will be forced to wake up to.
In addition to creating a world that seamlessly resembles their school, he is able to reset time in the world, creating an infinite loop of their last semester until Rin and Riki are ready. However, it does draw on his strength, as the world itself begins to weaken. The school appears to empty over time as Kyousuke cannot support the extras, for instance, until it finally fades completely.
Kyousuke is able to project illusions of himself and the other members of the Little Busters up until this point, while the real members lay unconscious at an accident site.
Enlightened Abilities: (While your character will not have access to their canon abilities, they will instead gain access to up to two Pokémon types as outlined here: http://www.serebii.net/xy/typechart.shtml
Through these types, they will be able to take on an ability set that can mimic their canon abilities. Additionally, they will gain access to special trainer abilities as detailed here: http://bravenewmods.dreamwidth.org/715.html
While describing this section, a good format would be to describe initial abilities and the way the abilities will develop after the first and second evolutions.
If your character has no canon powers, they may still be an Enlightened. However, we ask that the abilities you choose generally make some sense for the character, whether it's related to personality or other canon considerations.
While complex vehicles are beyond the technology level of Union, characters may, as part of their overall composition, use Enhanced items that have aspects of an available Pokémon. A character may begin with a single Enhanced item, such as a sword that contains the Fire type. This is generally recommended to be similar to something they use in canon.)
Starter Pokémon: Eevee. However, he will not be using Pokémon of his own very often, if ever.
Notes/Special Considerations: I think the only special considerations are that I would like for him to not use Pokémon on account of him thinking it's just not right to order someone/something else to fight for him. He might be more willing to strategize with another character/Pokémon, but not specifically call it in to fight unless he had absolutely no other choice. It's similar to how, in canon, he did not want to ask Kanade specifically to go back to battling the SSS, only to play the part of a disruptive antagonist without actually hurting anyone.

Just as quickly as the rush comes, he moves to straighten up from his usual slight slouch, his expression steeling. "There aren't a lot of people left in this world who mean something to me. If they are allies of mine, then they're worth my life. Even if they're not allies of mine, they don't deserve to be left behind."
